Who is T Lewis?

T Lewis is artist and co-creator of the “Over the Hedge” comic strip, syndicated internationally in 250 newspapers. He has illustrated and taught in a variety of far-flung locales, including Texas, West Africa, Switzerland and Mexico. He now lives in Washington State. T has illustrated several children’s books, including The Forgotten Helper, expanded from his treatment by author Lorrie Moore. Published by Random House, it has subsequently appeared in Italian, Spanish, German and Japanese editions. T has also drawn the “Mickey Mouse” comic strip for Disney Productions and King Features Syndicate.
DreamWorks Animation’s film adaptation of “Over the Hedge” (featuring the voices of Bruce Willis, Gary Shandling, Steve Carell, William Shatner and Wanda Sykes) opened in the summer of 2006, earning over $330 million worldwide. As creative consultant, T participated in script punch-up and character design. |
